Cinema Round 7 Draft Information
Aug. 19th, 2016 09:48 amHere we go ladies and gents! We will post information closer to the posting period regarding how you post. The schedule will go up next ... here is your information regarding draft submissions due Monday, September 5 @ 11:59 pm (in your corner of the world). As always, the drafts do not need to be great, thorough, complete, or even make sense. We only review to judge the validity of you completing the challenge. We reinstated drafts this round to keep people on schedule as we've seen a big drop off in participation since we took away drafts. We hope this helps everyone!
As a quick refresher on Round 7 dates:
August 6 - Claims open
August 7 - Claims close
August 7 - Second claims open
August 9 - Second claims close
September 5 - Rough drafts are due
October 3 - Posting begins
October 31 - Free-for-all/posting ends

Just as in the past, we're welcoming drafts as early as you like and all are accepted up until September 5th to the cinema_mod's email. Please read carefully! If you have further questions, you may comment to this post or email us.
For fic:
♦ Drafts must be at least nearly finished to show progress towards the October posting schedule.
♦ Attach your fic as either a .PDF, .DOC, .TXT, or .RTF only - if you submit in a different format we'll ask that you reformat it to one of the approved.
♦ Completed fics must be, at minimum, 1,000 words in length.
For art (excluding videos):
♦ Drafts must be at least a full 'picture' with proof of concept.
♦ Attach your art either as a .PNG or .JPG; if you have multiple pieces, you can put them in a .ZIP file if you prefer - but we really just need to see at least one item to show progress.
♦ Completed art must consist of, at minimum, one image with a size of 400x400 pixels.
For videos:
♦ Drafts must be at least twenty seconds in length (not including placeholders).
♦ Upload your sample to a hosting site such as mediafire or minus and send us a link to download it.
♦ Completed videos must be, at minimum, one minute in length.
For podfics:
♦ Drafts must be near the 1,000 word count minimum.
♦ Upload your sample to a hosting site such as mediafire or minus and send us a link to download it.
♦ Completed podfics must be, at minimum, 1,000 words.
♦ If you're collaborating with an author and the fic is not done, feel free to record a rough version of the current draft. All we want to see is that you are moving forward to the posting timeframe.
For fanmixes:
♦ Drafts must consist of at least seven songs.
♦ Upload your draft to a hosting site such as mediafire or minus and send us a link to download it. Please also include a list of the songs currently on there.
♦ Completed fanmixes must be, at minimum, 10 songs in length and must include a cover that's at least 400x400 pixels in size.
Send your draft to spncinema.mod@gmail.com along with the following information:
copy/paste into the email when sending your draft.
If you're working in collaboration, you can submit in one email detailing the collab and attaching/linking to both drafts. You may also submit your items separately, whichever works best for you. Both parts of the collaboration must submit drafts to be considered eligible for posting.
We'll reply to submissions within 48 hours with a confirmation that we've received the draft. If you do not get a reply after that time, please resend.
If you have any additional questions after reading all this, ask us in this post and we'll answer them ASAP. Otherwise, good luck finishing your fanworks! :D
