Summary: Attempting to stage a comeback into the acting scene, Jensen Ackles grudgingly agrees to a hokey contest – and a subsequent date with a fan. Turns out the winning fan isn’t a fan at all, Aubrey Carter having no idea who Jensen Ackles even is.

When it comes to dating, brief flings for easy sex and PR points had long been Jensen’s approach, Aubrey opting for avoidance altogether.

I will say this here: I know Het is like the red-headed step-child of fandom. I do. Myself even, I almost never read it. Writing Het is going back to my roots here in fandom though, and I kinda love revisiting it now and again. I realize it won't get many readers, I'm okay with that. However, those of you who do give it a chance...TY!!! ♥
