Summary: Jensen Ackles is under a lot of pressure from his family to get married and start a family, and being gay didn't change that. He htought he'd found the perfect match in Jason Manns, until their five-year courtship and almost-marriage ended suddenly and apparently without cause. Jensen promptly packed up and moved to Vancouver, where he has lived—single and clinging to his love for Jason—for the past two years.

Then, one of his best friends announces she’s getting married, and wants Jensen to be in the wedding party. It’s too late to back out when he gets word that Jason is going to be a fellow groomsman, and in a last-ditch attempt to look like he’s not still hung up on him, he hires Jared Padalecki, escort extraordinaire, to be his date for the weekend-long event.

He doesn’t quite know what to expect from the hired date; he just knows that it’s not this energetic, laid-back, charming man, who gets under Jensen’s skin far too easily. (Almost as easily as he gets under Jared’s.) Lies are told, truths are discovered, and Jensen just might learn what it might actually mean to be in love.
