Summary: When the world, and possibly the universe, comes under threat, the maverick director of the secret agency known only as S.H.I.E.L.D decides to call upon the Avengers Initiative.  Colonel Adam 'Fury' Lambert brings together one genetically engineered super-soldier, a demi-god, a millionaire playboy philanthropist, a couple of S.H.I.E.L.D.s best agents and a rage filled genius scientist in the hopes of finding a solution to this disaster.  What none of them expect to find among this crazy, snarky, unconventional team...is love.
