Summary: Jared and Jensen meet one night and are instantly attracted to each other. But they already have lives, with jobs and families and other people in them and everything. So they agree to go their separate ways and meet up once a year, at the same time, in the same place. This is very much a love story.
Warnings: Infidelity, obviously. That may not be the point of the movie, but it's certainly the premise.
Notes: I've been writing this story since February. It was a bear, but I finally wrestled it into some semblance of submission. I've also been whining to topaz119 about it since February. If it wasn't for her, it wouldn't be even close to all right. The title is a Matchbox 20 lyric. The link is a line from the movie's theme song, sung by Johnny Mathis.
